About me

My love for ceramics started waaaay before I even knew it would be possible to make it myself or even attempt to try it myself.

In 2020 when I was mostly living an online life, as probably most of us, well... you know... because C-word happened.... I saw that Anna Rosa from AR.M organized a giveaway to celebrate her new jewelery collection inspired by Ikebana - the Japanese art of flower arrangement.

I felt super inspired and made a piece with airdry clay and a bunch of dried flowers.

(I did not win the give away, but it did light up the fire in me to finally do something with my love for clay, handbuilding and well.. ceramics in general. So I guess.. I did win!)

I searched for the best place to learn EVERYTHING ceramics related and found that if you want to go all in... then there is only 1 place to be: Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp (KASKA DKO)

And from there, for the very first time ever, it felt like I found my place.

Let's see where this brings me,

Thank you so much for your love,

Has
